  Staff was very helpful with giving suggestions for the activities in the city and spoke good English. Rooms are very nice and neat. Breakfast was excellent! One of the best we had in Brazil. Location is very safe, which is important if you visit Salvador.   Chez Max was a comftabel pousade. Especially the restaurant we really liked. There was every evening live music, nice food and wine. It is on the third beach so a little bit more quitte than the more busy beaches which is nice. The bungalow was not so cosy as we expected. The lights were to bright, the bathroom is not so clean and the feranda was a littl - Loved this place! We stayed in a Bungalow and it was great, had air con and a fridge. The location was perfect, only a couple of ins to the action and half way point to both beaches. The restaurant was also fabulous, by far the best Italian on Morro. The breakfast, which was included was also fabulous. I would 100% recommend this place.

  Great price and good location in the village center but steps from the beach. Breakfast is included and was delicious with lots of options - eggs, fruit, breads, cakes, cheeses and meats.   The hotel is about 100 m from the main street of the city and from there another 100 m to the main beach and the turtle park. It also offered free parking to us. The hotel is in a very safe area (generally Praia do Forte is safe) and someone can walk freely at any day or night time. Everything is clean, quiet and professionally organized – best we have seen in Br - It was an excellent pousada, fantastic room with main bedroom and attached second bedroom for a family with three small children, beautiful food and a great pool. Close to the beach (not right on it, but a walk away with toddlers) and close to the turtle sanctuary which was a big hit with the children.   This place is a real gem. No one could visit and not appreciate the care and thought that has gone into the design and attention to detail, especially in the bay-facing rooms, with their balconies and spacious, comfortable rooms. This was a genuinely laid-back stay, with all needs catered for and a delicious breakfast freshly-prepared each morning... ce que les gens disent » . We spent plenty of time in the pousada (guest house) simply relaxing in the huge lounge downstairs, with its paintings and shelves full of books. H - Love it, love it, love it.  You have to make this your base for Salvador.... Stunning place, really nicely decorated with every detail thought about. Super friendly staff full of lots of tips and hints about the town.  It is the love and attention they put into everything which shines through -  arranged a super friendly collection from the airport, welcomed with a fresh juice, room upgraded,  Great breakfast.thank u for a wonderful stay.
