A family owned operation who run an exceptional Pousada. The attention to detail was incredible, especially the strategically placed vases of stunning tropical flowers placed in our room and all around the Pousada. Afternoon tea that was provided was a very special touch. Great value.

Parfait petit havre de paix en pleine nature... Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit, l'accueil y est chaleureux et affectif.
Bernard et Régine se chargent à merveille des recommandations les plus appréciables.
La maison est aménagée avec gout jusqu'au moindre petit détails.

From taking us on a private tour of Arraial d'Ajuda, to wonderful homecooked breakfasts, we felt like we were friends, not guests. You can tell they love the wonderful home they have created and love even more sharing it with their guests. The rooms are rustic and romantic, and you feel like you are staying in paradise. -
An intimate pousada stylishly decorated and surrounded by lush greenery.
Bernard and Regine were extremely friendly and helpful hosts while still allowing us the independence and privacy we wanted. The breakfast was excellent.
The beaches(10mins walk) are beautiful and the bar and restaurant area of Arraial (20mins walk)was safe and had excellent live music.

Everything was great! We came to the pousada to stay just one night, but we loved it so much that we decided to stay for two days more. We booked one of the larger rooms which turned out to be a suite with a lovely balcony overlooking the beach. Very nicely decorated - simple and rustic but very well kept. Air con in the bedroom was super quiet. Staff were extremely warm and helpful even if they spoke limited English. Breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. It was an excellent pousada, fantastic room with main bedroom and attached second bedroom for a family with three small children, beautiful food and a great pool. Close to the beach (not right on it, but a walk away with toddlers) and close to the turtle sanctuary which was a big hit with the children.
