We have travelled in Brazil a lot and ... ce que les gens disent » this is the nicest place we have ever been. It is the perfect environment to relax, chill out and have a laid back time. The owner is generous, very friendly and spoils his guests wherever he can. He even offered to make fried eggs and crepes for us for breakfast. The room is clean and comfortable. The shower was always hot and nice. We personally enjoyed that there are no kids around. We loved to watch the cats, monkeys and birds - The Pousada was very well designed, you can see that the owners and the team pay a huge attention to the needs of their guests and also to the conditions of their property and facilities. They all were so friendly and even helping us to find a nice place on our way along the Costa Verde. They serve real good breakfast, have a nice garden and the rooms are equipped with all you need. But the biggest WOW-effect was to see that they focus 100% on the well-being of their guests, without any stress.

  The staff was incredibly helpful, setting up a waterfall tour for us on the spot. They were also able to check us in early and allowed a late checkout, which was fantastic for our rather hectic travel schedule. The pousada overall was completely charming, and we loved the pool and restaurant that came with it. The room was small, but very clean and modern. It was central to everything and a short walk to the boats for day trips to the islands and swimming. I would highly recommend the Pousada Do Ouro.

  All is perfect, quiet, nice and clean. The staff and teh owners are very welcome. The breakfast is wonderful. The best place we found in Pousada.

  Pousada is positioned right in the historic center, staff is very welcoming and service is excellent. Special thanks for Madalena and Danilo that did everything to enjoy our stay in Paraty. I would really recommend this pousada to stay in Paraty. - Location and rooms are great, right in the historic centre, and very central to all parts of town.
