When I arrived I spoke not a word of Portuguese or Spanish and the lady
on reception didn't speak English either but managed to persevere
with me and help out to get me booked in etc. the staff were all very
kind and helpful - small example and probably not a good one but I hung
my towel out to dry and it started raining when I was out, so the sta

It was very close to the 2nd beach and the restaurants. The owners and staff were excellent, always helpful, giving us suggestions about what to do or visit in Morro. The room was spacious, with a balcony and a hammock, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a great shower. Everything was clean and tidy. Thanks Ale, Toni, Neusa and Eliana

very nice place to visit, its very peaceful with beautiful beaches and nature. clean rooms and toilet, and comfortable beds which was important to us. I highly recommend this pousada to anyone who visits Morro.

hotels in favour of pousada xerife. This proved the right choice. The
pousada is a perfect home for a few days (but not only!). Waking up in

Overall was an excellent experience. Juliana met us at the port and brought us to our rooms. The bed was nicely decorated with fresh flowers in a heart shape. Breakfast is spectacular. Pousada de Porto de Cima is a wonderful choice! The rooms are bungalows set in a forested area (no mosquitos) lush with exotic flowers and blue hummingbirds, very quiet, and yet just a small walk to the best restaurants and hubbub of the island. There is a isolated beach just down the hill from the hotel where you can swim and take peaceful walks. The family running the pousada are helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make everything wonderful, and I still retained my independe

Loved this place! We stayed in a Bungalow and it was great, had air con
and a fridge. The location was perfect, only a couple of ins to the
action and half way point to both beaches. The restaurant was also
fabulous, by far the best Italian on Morro. The breakfast, which was
included was also fabulous. I would 100% recommend this place.
