Pousada Guapuruvu - Photos
Ce que les gens disent
For a start it's actually Recanto Dos Ties that I am reviewing,
because Guaparuvu was full and we were moved next door. However just as
I suspect they were, this place was fantastic!!! Nestled into the side of
a mountain this pousada is like a tree house of dreams. The rooms are
huge, the hammocks strong and the breakfast plentiful. The warm welcome
of the family and it's animals is second to none, and just adds to
the whole relaxed and fairytale like feel to the place. Fantastic!!!. tous commentaires »
The staying was great! We staied in another building and it was even
better than the official one. We had a loft room, with 2 single beds in
the ground floor, and a couple bed in the fisrt floor, and we had
booked for just 2 people. The owner, Creuza, is very kind, and
everytihng was perfect!.
Our stay at Pousada Guapuruvu was wonderful. We were greeted with warmth and attention. The room was cool, with a surrounding nature. The whole environment is stunning and you can surely rest all night long. Next year we will be back for sure. A special thanks to Creusa and her lovely sister.
Creuza, the lady in charge, was very nice and helpful. She knows her
island very well and gave good advice on tours, beaches within walking
distance and how to get to Rio the easiest way. The breakfast was great,
fresh bread and fruits every day!.
It was wonderful staying here. The hosts are incredibly friendly, the pousada is based towards the end of the village, therefore nice and quiet and one feels immersed in nature. The bed is comfortable, the breakfast delicious. Highly recommended.
the owners, sisters, were really nice friendly with us. they did recomend nice tours, walkings.
Breakfast is really good. the place its 5/10 minutes walking from the port/center
we really enjoyed beeing there.
Everything was great: breakfast, service, rooms! We expected to be 2 nights and take another one (because of the island and the hotel). Highly recommended (both).
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from the breakfast-terrace is beautiful.
Easy and quiet place with very nice breakfast.
friendly and helpful staff,great nature.
The surroundings were Idyllic and it is just a short walk into the village. The owner, Creuza Natallia, was very polite and helpful, she was also did not charge me for the extra day, despite the fact I arrived a day late.
I liked that the Pousada was away from the busy "downtown" area and that it backed up to a lovely stream and lots of greenery. The owner and her sister are both very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
The position can be interesting if you are looking for contact with the
nature. The owner is kind, but don't expect a anything professional.
Decent breakfast in nice garden setting.
Maybe a little far from the beach (but it was just 4' walking). Then, really no problem.
Our room just had a very small window and there is only the ventilator working, not the a/c. So it was always a bit sticky. You can only pay cash, no credit cards are accepted and at the moment there is no cash machine on the island.
Wifi not working due to cut off cable (not in power of pousada however).
payment in cash only,slow internet.
There was a small incident with one of the staffs visiting pet dog! Where it left a little gift for me on the garden path at night. However the owner was extremely apologetic and emphasized that the pet dog is not normally resident at the 'pousada'.
Our room was not what I had expected based on photos of the place. It was large, which was good, but it didn't have a balcony and only had a small window. I noticed some people checking out who had a great view of the garden and a balcony and when I asked if we could switch rooms I was told my husband was too tall and wouldn't "fit" however the man who was leaving the room was just as tall! I think she just didn't want us to move.
I didn't like the position, not really comfortable if you have a
luggage with you. The breakfast was really poor. And the staff is really
really familiar, don't expect anything professional. The towels were
often dirty.
Room was very disappointing - low ceiling and little light.
