  We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of accommodation at the Hotel Amfora which met all our needs perfectly. The room was delightfully spacious with lovely decor. Situated in the main town square this hotel is ideally situated. The position on Grote Markt is excellent and plenty of warm sunshine meant we could eat and drink on the terrace/pavement tables. The room was a great size and the bathroom was also a good size.

  From the moment I arrived I felt special. That feeling remained throughout my all too short visit.The location, an easy walk from the train station, is central to everything Poperinge offers. I was there the two nights that the restaurant is closed, but other guests gave it high marks. The beds and chairs are very comfortable. I will return with my wife who is picky, but will love this hotel and it's owners. - I was visiting with a friend & my son & stayed in the suite which was ideal with two rooms. The purpose of our trip was to visit the ww1 sites & the holel was in a lovely situation overlooking the town square with many other bars & restuarants available to relax after our visits. Hotel spotless & friendly well situated for the bus stop & train station with late trains from Eiper. The food served in the restuarnt was superb as was the service. Would certainly return.
