  the hotel was tucked away in poperinge near Ypres and was quite delightful. The rooms were very nice with excellent bathrooms. The 4 course set meal was delicious and good value for money. I will definitly book again ! - So attractive hotel because it is renovated from an old manor house.   From the moment I arrived I felt special. That feeling remained throughout my all too short visit.The location, an easy walk from the train station, is central to everything Poperinge offers. I was there the two nights that the restaurant is closed, but other guests gave it high marks. The beds and chairs are very comfortable. I will return with my wife who is picky, but will love this hotel and it's owners. - I was visiting with a friend & my son & stayed in the suite which was ideal with two rooms. The purpose of our trip was to visit the ww1 sites & the holel was in a lovely situation overlooking the town square with many other bars & restuarants available to relax after our visits. Hotel spotless & friendly well situated for the bus stop & train station with late trains from Eiper. The food served in the restuarnt was superb as was the service. Would certainly return.
