  IBIS Hervelee is a business-focussed property in a service area off the main road. It is very well done. My room was possibly the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The double glazing very effectively kept the noise from the road out and the floor to ceiling curtains were blackout so I could sleep in the summer evening. The bed is among the most comfortable I have ever slept in, in a hotel. Rooms spotless, WiFi is excellent and always works. No complaints about this hotel. In fact it is so good I have arranged for all my travel to Belgium to be based there.

  Forget the corporate hotels who hire pretty young things with no people skills or commitment to hospitality as a profession... Peter is a terrific host, he really cares about the comfort of his guests. The room was spacious and quaint, lots of attention to detail. Breakfast was phenomenal.   Casa Bollicine is the perfect designer family run accommodation with great location. The owners are extremely helpful and outgoing, the interiors are very consistent in contrasting black/white style with an eye for detail, the room I had (the 'rabbit room') was very spacious and comfortable. Overall I highly recommend Casa Bollicine to stay if you have business in Leuven. - Stylish, clean, quiet and perfectly located close to the hottest spot in Leuven. The landlady is lovely and breakfast fresh and delicious. My room was very spacious and with a huge bow-window. Bed was big and very comfortable. Wi-fi is excellent. Complimentary bathroom items were above average and free coffee and water and amaretto biscuit were provided.

The owner, Michel, has set up the place with a simple and elegant balance between medieval & contemporary - very nice . . . and very clean! The breakfast was fresh & tasty with a couple of unique elements. Michel - This B&B is really exceptional. The house is four hundred years old but has been lovingly restored by Michel, the owner, and is now very comfortable indeed with a great bed. The location is amazing - directly opposite the extensive, exquisite and peaceful 13th century Begijnhof (a sort of village within a town), but just a 10 minute walk right into the centre of Leuven which is a lively and happy university town, or a 5 minute walk to the river and walks in the forest.
