  Carin is a very nice host. I liked the warm welcome, decoration of the house (all these tiny details you see and say "wow"), breakfasts, calm atmosphere, amenities (toiletries, tea, all you can think of). There are two cats in the house too. :) Location was ideal for my goals. - the room itself was quite spacious and nicely decorated.   Host is excellent - very helpful! The apartment felt like home - it was comfortable and had a 'lived in' feel - most definitely not like an impersonal hotel. I completely enjoyed the short stay I had, and will most definitely stay here again when next in Brussels.   The previous reviews were very accurate this is a Great B&B with lots of character. The staff were friendly and the room was clean, modern and very spacious. The breakfast was typical continental fare, but the staff will cook you eggs and bacon on requested. It was comfortable and luxurious and quite close to downtown/Grote Maarkt. If you are going to the EP it's best to take the metro, but it's also possible walking.   I like that it's spacious. We weren't cramped in a hotel room. It also has a full kitchen,so we could cook and save money. It's close to the Grand place; about a 10 minutes walk. Elisabeth was welcoming. She helped us with our luggage. She had some food items such as milk,bread, coffee,juice,olive oil etc to get us started.
