  A charming 4-floor house from 1850 on the old route to Santiago de Compostela. Renovated in 2000 in a way very similar to how I do-it-yourselfed myself around 1990. Very friendly landlady, speaks French and English. - Visiting Brussels was a great experience for me and this B&B was a great part of it, the lady who owns the place is so nice and friendly, she makes you really feel like you at home. It was very comfortable and cosy, the breakfast table was great, she helped me out with everything I needed, and I would definitely go there again.

  Very good location off the Grand Sablon. Only 5 rooms.Rooms are a decent size, modern, clean and comfortable. Not for kids (quiet/stairs) or elderly (stairs), but thoroughly recommend for others and we would certainly stay there again.   I like that it's spacious. We weren't cramped in a hotel room. It also has a full kitchen,so we could cook and save money. It's close to the Grand place; about a 10 minutes walk. Elisabeth was welcoming. She helped us with our luggage. She had some food items such as milk,bread, coffee,juice,olive oil etc to get us started. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and a thick carpet on the floor. There was a generous supply of water and equipment to make tea.   The previous reviews were very accurate this is a Great B&B with lots of character. The staff were friendly and the room was clean, modern and very spacious. The breakfast was typical continental fare, but the staff will cook you eggs and bacon on requested. It was comfortable and luxurious and quite close to downtown/Grote Maarkt. If you are going to the EP it's best to take the metro, but it's also possible walking. I was impressed with the decor of the loft very minimal but modern and comfortable! The linen in the room smelled great and the whole loft was kindly put available to me!
