  Stunning location. I had a room with a balcony viewing the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very clean, spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet has all you need.   We booked our appartment for 6 nights. It had a large bathroom, kitchenette, dining area, sitting room with the tv, and bedroom- all very modern and it was cleaned and kept spotless each day. Parking provision is good and right by the front .entrance.Extremely pleasant proprietors.The lady of the house speaks extremely good English, and - Good location at the crossing of Rainerstraße and B154; easy to reach from the Mondsee Straße (B 154) . Close to the city center and to the beach (walking distance). The hotel's parking can accommodate all the guests' cars (there is also a second parking that belongs to the restaurant run by the same family). The breakfast was OK both in quality and variety. The room was spacious and comfortable. Hint: ask for a room in the ground flour, then wi-fi will be available in the room too.

  Fantastic location: by the lake and between the hills! Nice walkway around Gosausee (appr. 4.5 kms) and starting point for several hiking routes. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great food! Half-board: soup, 3 options for main dish, desert. Silent during the night.

We received a warm welcome, the modern swimming pool/guest relaxation area is superb, the evening meal was enjoyed on the terrace and it was greatly appreciated having fluffy, new towels.   The warm atmosphere inside. The management team is very friendly and helpful. I felt at home when I was just abroad for business. The food is marvellous and the confort excellent. More a Gasthof than a hotel: perfect to get in touch with the Austrian Way of life...and Caranal:)
