The rooms were clean, offered good value for money and had everything
that I needed. I don't use WiFi, I have plenty of data to check
email etc from my phone, however due to the remoteness of the West Coast
I had low signal at times, however this had nothing to do with staying
at the Villas. If you are not with Telstra, don't expect to get much
of a signal at all. I likes this place, I stayed in Villa 5, and would

Awesome place, spacious, nice cooking facilities, nice rooms, linens,
well heated. Thank you for heating our room prior to our arrival in cold
winter, peaceful with free parking. Spacious lounge, dining and kitchen.
Very clean and spacious unit. The staff were great - we were travelling and didn't arrive until 7pm - the heating and porch light had been put on for us and our room was toasty warm.
Heater was extremely effective
Spa looked sensational - too tired to try it out!

The villa was spacious clean & warm (July). The self contained facilities were perfect for our needs.
Accommodation was neat, tidy and very comfortabbe for our overnight stay.
And importantly, well priced.

Nice quiet location just 1.5 km nice walk out of Stahan town centre.
Torch was provided in room as it gets dark at night. Uphill all the way
back for those who are not too fit. Spa room was big with a good sized
corner spa bath. Easy parking and free wireless.

Wi-fi inadequate for Room 11- but processing data in car outside the office worked a treat. (although there was adequate warning of this problem).
Difficult to get internet - though not motels fault I think it would have been like this all over Strachan.
No one in attendance at reception on arrival but they were only a phone call away and very helpfull when we were checking out.
Villas very close to each other, so a bit stressful keeping small children from disturbing neighbours.
Your sign needs brightening up - it is a bit faded and can be missed.
The ducks should not be allowed to do night shifts and should sleep at the same time we did - but they were lovely.

Am yet to find a restaurant in Strahan I would return to.
Wireless Internet couldn't be accessed from within room or outside on verandah - I wasn't going any further as it was raining.
Additional towel rails in bathroom would be good. We are happy to keep the same towels for a coup,e of nights but in the wet weather there were limited places to hang them.
No lighting out front to show name "Driftwood" - other lighting ok.

My room was too close to the main room.
Wifi range was a bit lacking....
Wifi was weak and not steady. Mightbe due to the surrounding environment problem. That night , was windy.
It was as if the room had not quite been finished! No wardrobe or
drawers. Kitchen area looked like a last minute idea.
Bed uncomfortable; television reception sporadic; cheap and tired infrastructure.
Site has no aspect and the grounds were untidy. Staff at the time were not friendly or welcoming.
Had to plug everything in when we arrived. Even the TV aerial.
Wifi DOES not work - cannot understand how places can continue to advertise wifi when it is not strong enough for all parts of the property. And it's not about the number of users as the place was not full.
Customer service provided was poor & indifferent.
Half the light bulbs were either missing or did not work. Advertised as self contained but an alcove in a dark corner with no lighting and a plastic bowl to wash up in is not my idea of self contained.
Our rooms were not interconnected.

Cheap Chinese Clock radios that either didn't work or activated the alarm three hours ahead of set time and could not be turne off other than by ripping the cord out of the power point.
