Loved the crisply ironed sheets everyday. We watched the Aussies lose another Ashes Cricket match on Foxtel big screen TV in our room. Thank you Hester for keeping the house sparkling clean. We hear from Marielise that a Nespresso Coffee machine may be coming soon to the kitchen. YEAH! Enjoyed the Zebra Room for 4 nights as a winter retreat from work in Perth. It is the only room with a bath in this 5 bedroom short stay serviced accommodation. Our room had black and white modern Africa decor wi.
tous commentaires » I was impressed by the decor, the cleanliness and the quality of the fit-out.While the room was not particularly large the abilty to access a lounge area and a 'gazebo-type' large room more than compensated for this and would be appreciated by most guests. The cleanliness and quality of the fittings is equal to the best I have seen in hotels/motels in Australia. I have recommended the establishment to all my family and some friends already. First impressions ... Style, comfort, quality. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I like the fact that I can use the kitchen to cook my meal, use the dining room to eat it and having a choice to relax in the lounge or the huge alfresco area... Will come back here every time... Feels like home away from home. Everything. the attention to detail. Excellent beds and pillows. My job takes me to every part of Australia and this is the most comfortable and relaxing accommodation that I have experienced. I will definately return next trip. Very handy to have a well stocked kitchen and everything was of a very high standard. A very "arty" and unusual property. Owner, on a quick morning visit was very friendly. The entire complex is exquisitely decorated, clean and well maintained. Comming from Africa I like the African themes and especially the big cats!!!. Very clean accommodation with beautiful contemporary, African animal prints as part of the decor. Next time we'll be staying in the zebra room. Very modern. Actually, service and staff I can say nothing, cause I never see them during my living. But I like it so much! Nobody could interrupt me!. Near to lovely beach. Good for a whole group of friends to rent all of the rooms and use the common areas to socialise. The fittings and fixtures were top end luxury and it was very clean. Nothing we didnt like. On my wish list is a pillow library: slim pillow, memory foam pillow, feather pillow to supplement the polyester pillows provided. So many other details had been thought of at Zebras this addition would make it perfect. We were surprised there was no conventional dining table. There are just high bar stools at benches. Hope to be back again. The room - Lion, was far too small. The bed was too small by todays standard, but very comfortable. The fact that there is no-one in attendance is unusual. I did have a problem sleeping on the bed and the thick pillows. Maybe some thiner pillows will be good (but that just me!!). No place to braai/barbeque. Rhino room is a bit small. Would go for the Elephant room if available next time. No negative comments. That I had to check out and head back home. Happy to have stayed a bit longer. Room was small and ensuite didn't have a door (toilet/shower). Nothing not to like. Our room (Lion) had good bathroom and reasonable space but had no window to natural light. The only window looked out on a common area so we had to keep the blinds down making it fairly dark. This did not represent value for money, given the first room we were allocated was tiny and then on raising this, we were placed in a room almost twice the size.
