What a pleasant surprise. As I travel a lot for business on a very limited budget, I must say that I've found myself in some pretty bad places for the price. This was shockingly nice. It's no Four Seasons, but I couldn't believe how friendly the staff was. I mean, a call when I got to the room to check if everything was satisfactory? Wow! The upgrades were nice, the location (right off the light rail) was perfect, and the price was more than acceptable. I would advise anyone traveling to San Jo.
kaikki arvostelut » location -- close to the company we were working at, across the road from public transit (VTA), Denny's in the parking lot, almost next door to EBay Staff -- very friendly, willing to help with directions, answer questions, help in any way they could Facilities -- not extravagant but all working Clean -- it was clean Price -- it was a business trip, so our company paid, but it was still about 2/3 the price of the lower tier hotels (which all had bad reviews, which is why I chose this place). The weekly rate is about $529 after tax; this is very competitive (about $300 less than the motel across the street!). The floors are laminate instead of grungy carpet, and the rooms seem recently renovated, so don't seem old, smoky, and gross like I've come to expect in most motels. Wireless internet is $3/day, and it is actually usable. I love how they upgraded the design to contemporary-modern furniture. Very friendly and welcoming staff. I felt safe walking outside. Very close to businesses and restaurants and gas station for convenience. The beach is only 45 minutes away and Los gatos is about 15. Great spot to stay a couple days and relax while you're in town!. Perfect for airport access! Staff was welcoming and very helpful. Room had hardwood floors, comfortable beds, Flat screen tv had USB, video connections conveniently located in wall unit holding tv. (cool if I had needed to use it!) Dennys restaurant located across parking lot. I liked the new modern set up in the room nice flat screen tv pergo flooring granite counter top not your typical motel 6. I was there for five days for work and rebooked for three more days to finish my job. I liked the place alot. Very convenient to airport; room was clean and nicely redesigned. It reminded me of euro-budget hotels like Ibis. Convenient Dennys across the parking lot. The location to the airport and the project site I am working. The room update is fantastic. The staff were all very cool and accommodating. Staff was helpful, friendly and courteous. Room was much better than expected, updated, clean and efficient. Near light rail and Dennys restaurant. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Coffee 7 to 10 AM was just right. The hotel has been remodeled and looks wonderful. The rooms are very comfortable. the staff was very friendly. The room was extremely cleaned and Well maintained. The staff was very courteous. Treated me very well as an international guest. Updated rooms, much better than expected. Overall it was a good, clean and tidy. Cleanliness. free coffee in morning. Room was nice, new and clean. good service and attitude. I liked the room layout. The room upgrades: modern style, TV, design, bedding. I also loved the good deal for a one night stay. atleast they allowed an hour of early check-in without charging me. Close to the airport. The room was clean. I don't like that I was so compelled to write this, meaning next time, it may be booked up. :). Towels -- I like those big soft fluffy towels. They had small scratchy towels (but they worked). I was not told that cleaning only comes every other day with the weekly rate. The towels are too thin and hard on the skin. No hairdryer. No fridge. No microwave. No coffee maker. In room. No complimentary shampoo and conditioner. The towels were very thin and small. Just small upgrades would be nice. Nothing that holds me back from staying there again, though. Bathroom fan very noisy, vending machines couldn't give/make change at the time, but mini mart next door. I was on the end near a stair unit, and there was some noise of people going up and down. The wifi. At $3 a day the speed was considerably less than 2 mg, which is horrendous given this is the Silicon Valley. Wifi should be a given, not an option. They should take wifi available from the sign in front. Most people have multiple devices. Again, this is the Silicon Valley. Could use nicer/softer towels - felt like locker room towels. Room was short on towels, but staff cheerfully provided more. The only real complaint I had was the amount of channels on the tv. the only thing I did not like was I had to pay for wifi. Bed not very comfortable. the room smelled a bit. Curtains did not block out day light Di difficult to sleep on. The air extractor in toilet was unbelievably/unbearable noisy. Two nights I got back to the room and my door was not completely shut, had a problem with the striker plate. There was nothing we did not like. The front desk area: I felt like I was at the DMV or some iheartwit government office with the glass bullet proof window and having to submit my card through the metal tray. It was very impersonal and not welcoming. The facility also looked kind of scetchy (maybe because I was turned off by the look of the front desk). The noise factor. The walls are very thin and any one talking loud enough can disturb the guests. Got there and hotel totally dark, with people hanging outside their rooms .... did not feel like the safest of places. Will not stay there again. Noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in.
