  The location is lovely and quiet, ideal for resting after a long day on the road. Despite the dated decor, the verandas and corridors were wide, there were privacy partitions built in between each door (a nice touch) and the pool was a flowering, private retreat that we enjoyed very much. The beach is literally a five - The room was spacious, very clean, near the beach, lots of restaurants near by, the staff was very friendly & helpful, the pool was a fun spot to relax, houskeeping staff excellant. Breakfast was included & just right to start the day.Will visit again !

  I enjoyed the Seahorse Resort very much. It is a quaint, older building so there were a few things that could be improved but they are obviously working to update and improve the facility. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to my every need. I definitely intend to return next year and plan to bring a friend. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook our meals. Literally right across from the beach, in the mornings we watched the surfers from the wall of beach-facing windows, and in the afternoon we walked across the street to enjoy the water ourselves! Free covered parking right next to the door. I'd definitely stay here again.

  It's a small older motel that has been nicely kept up. Darling 2 rooms with flat screen TV, rattan table & chairs, fridge. Even the sink in the bathroom was upgraded to a pedastle sink.   It was very close to the beach and lots of little restaurants and shops. The beds were really comfy and we loved the little terrace where we could watch the surfers. This allowed us to get into San Clemente earlier and take advantage of an early dinner time on Valentine's Day. Also, I had a meeting scheduled the next day at 11am, which is the check-out time. The staff allowed me to stay until 12:30, so I could have my meeting and then pack up and leave. They were really friendly.
