  My wife and I have stayed at the Samoset Resort a number of times and the staff has always been accommodating and extremely friendly. Meals in the restaurant are excellent and the ambiance (both in the restaurant and in the hotel) couldn't be better - summer or winter. - The pool was beautiful and had a family friendly atmosphere. The room was clean, bright and decorated with a country flair. We didn't have the continental breakfast but from what I saw it had a lot to offer. This was the nicest place we had ever stayed at.   The outside appearance lead you to think that the rooms were small and outdated. The view was fantastic and the rooms were very comfortable. - Everything was great! Staff were helpful, courteous, and cheerful.
