  The environment was clean, and one of the staff members personally showed me to my room when I could not find it. Also, the bed was very comfortable, and the hotel allowed me to park my car for a week while I was away in Iowa.   The comfortable mattress first of all as I have a bad back. It really helped me to sleep comfortably. My wife liked the waffle maker but had to use a bowl as no plates were available. On a cold morning, coffee is always a welcome addition to start the day. At least the orange juice was good. Bottom line is you are a good value for the mone - I liked the price for 5 nights while we did business in the city. Loved the blooming roses.   The rooms are much larger than average hotels. The pool is amazing. The decor is high end with a touch of retro and vintage. It is refreshing to find such a timeless hotel with home town service. - I liked the cost on the posting
