  First, the value. It was nicer than most upscale hotels we've stayed at, and at half the price. All amenities were for comfort and our stay was great!   This is a great resort! The units are spacious and well equipped. They even have electric blenders,beaters and an ice bucket and numerous bbqs. Lots of colourful birds flit around in the trees and there's lots of other cute wildlife. Its only a short drive to the best supermarket we found in Hawaii.   We stayed in D35 and we loved it! It was clean, Internet was fast and stable and we used the BBQ every night and had dinner at our balcony with stunning views. Shops and restaurants are nearby. The unit even had its own washing machine and tumble dryer and detergent was included, so we could do our laundry the night before moving on. Good location for arriving and departing Big Island; the airport is about 40 minutes away by car on good roads.

We drove all over the island from that location and I thought it was a great starting point too all destinations since our main purpose was to see the volcanos. It is a private, secluded, fantastic getaway I wanted to move into and stay forever. It was an amazing experience to wake up in your own private rain forest. I am from the Northwest and it had the feel and look of a Northwest forest only with different exotic flora. Pick this one.
