  The hotel was beautiful, had old-world charm but all the modern conveniences, including a refrigerator in the room. The tall ceilings, big window, and huge bathroom were fabulous. It was convenient to ETSU and all the stores and activities in Johnson City. - Everything!   We needed a short get away and Riverstone was perfect. We were able to lay by the pool while we waited on our room to be ready and having a full kitchen gave us the ability to cook supper in, relax and watch the Masters Golf tournament. Didn't get to take advantage of the spa but it looked wonderful and the gold course was beautiful. Other resorts/hotels close at ten or eleven at night and if your family is out sightseeing each day, your children are always disappointed that they can't swim. The 24 hour pool solved that problem!

The location was great--just a few miles outside of Gatlinburg and not very far to all the sites and attractions of Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. Lots to do just on the resort grounds so you don't even have to wander off property if you just want to relax. - We like that we could visit here & had all we needed right on spot, didn't have to bring anything from town. We also like that when we decide to come back we can also bring our daughter & she will be occupied with activities to do for her own age. Beautiful place, loved it, can't wait to come back!
