Intimate, small and friendly hotel. Staff knew us by name. Enjoyed all of the extra amenities. Beautiful continental breakfast, wine & cheese reception in afternoon and the milk & cookies ( home baked!) in the evening. Turn down service and newspaper in the morning. This was our first time at Springmaid Resort. It was a very pleasurable stay. The accomdations were all that we could have asked for. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. They made us feel that they truly cared that we had a good experience at their resort. The view from our room was exactly what we were in Myrtle Beach for. I will recomend Springmaid Resort to my friends and look forward to visiting again.

This is a refurbished fort. The building is fascinating. The atrium where the rooms are is open and beautiful. Our room was typical Embassy Suite. The hotel is on the same block as Rue 99, Coast and Virginia's on King, three great restaurants. We would definitely stay there again. -

This was a great hotel! The staff could not have been more accommodating and the location was convenient to everything. It was the most crowded weekend of the year and we did not stress for one minute because the staff at the hotel took care of everything! We ate at the Swamp Fox twice and it was excellent!!
