You can walk everywhere except to the mansions and then the Visitors Center is only a block away and you can get a bus to take you to the mansions. Our car never left the parking lot. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They gave excellent directions to nearby sights. Parking, although extra, was conveniently located across the street; just a few steps from the inn. Breakfast, which was included, was "just right" and was located in a homey and warm living room like location.
