  Well, if you have to point the exact center and downtown of Providence, ri, you would have to put the pin on The Biltmore... This is like an icon of the city and one of those old-school American hotels. The location itself is unbeatable and it looks over the 'central park' of Providence; Kennedy Plaza. The front desk upgraded me to a larger room with morning sun. The bed was very comfortable, firm with a mountain of soft pillows. Good, fast (and complimentary) wireless. Fitness room was empty at 5:30 a.m. easily accessible and with towels and bottled water.

  Enjoyed the facility itself, but the staff made our stay more pleasurable. The location was within walking distance to almost all of Newport. I will go again. - I love that the hotel is unique and desn't feel like any chain hotel. I also love the history of the hotel and that it has been open since 1929.

  Request for a room with a view was honored. The corner room had three large windows looking out to the city and a nearby bell tower/steeple which chimed on the hour...must to our delight. Not in the least bit annoying as others have stated. Quite charming. Beds were luxuriously comfortable. Can't recall a more enjoyable hotel stay. Cleanliness wa... mitä ihmiset sanovat » s better than average. The towels and bed linens were crisp and fresh. - Due to some mis-hap, the hotel didn't have our booking. However, they were able to accommodate us and one of our rooms was better than we had originally booked, at no extra cost, so - result! Only stayed one night so don't feel we got the full benefit of the hotel, however the staff were very pleasant and helpful, particularly in relation to the missing booking.

  We recently stayed at the Bouchard Inn for out 10 year Anniversaty. After reading many positive reviews I figured we would check it out. This place is fabulous! For starters, the price was great! At check in we were greeted by the Inn keeper who is very sweet and pleasant. A gentleman took our bags and showed us to our room. The location is great on Thames Street, you can walk e - Bouchard was close to almost everything when walking, and the beach was only a short drive away. The room was very clean and comfortable, although a bit small. The morning pastries were hot and delicious when delivered to the door. My sister and I were able to check in early which was great. We noticed that there was construction going on (they are obviously expanding) and the innkeeper told us upfront that there was a small hole in one of the walls of our room. He offered a slight discount
