  We liked the exquisite lobby, the front and back porches, the grounds,the view, the lake, the secluded location, the ambiance, the pine motif, the cozy seating in front of the fireplace. The room , albeit small, was nicely decorated.I felt like I was in the Gatsby era...or in the movie,"Somewhere In Time". - The food was great.   The staff was extremely helpful. The room I was originally supposed to stay in was not ready and they automatically upgraded us to a better room extremely quickly, neither was inexpensive but I did appreciate it. Everything is only a phone call away. - Setting, room, the palace, people, amenities available.
