Staff was great and took care of us to the best of their ability on our time schedule since we don't let anyone in our room when we have our pet with us. HA! Great place to stay. - Great hotel for the price. I had a one day stay at the hotel and it was more than I expected. The feel of luxury when you wlk into the lobby was nice. Came with kids so the free hot breakfast was nice and the pool and hot tub were great. Would definately recommend this hotel to others.

  The value for money of the Mayfair was excellent. The hotel is located downtown, with close access--two blocks-- to the excellent light rail system (which is useful for visiting a number of places outside of the core). Please know that this is an historic hotel, so the rooms are somewhat smaller than most modern hotels, but they are neverth - The location was great. The parking wasn't as bad as people complained about, the garage isn't attached to the hotel no, but one block walk is not bad. The hotel suited our needs but definitely did not have any extras. The coffee bar downstairs was even closed the entire time we were there.
