  I stayed at Alaska Grizzly Lodge with my sister from Japan from Sep 21 to 26, 2013. I loved the lodge! The décor was very nice and I was able to feel Alaska everywhere in the lodge and I took a lot of pictures of the lodge and the 3 very friendly and well-mannered dogs! She helped us open fresh salmon we got from Yukon River - My wife and I spent 3 most wonderful nights at lodge. We watched aurora borealis Three days in a row from my balcony. Amazing location! Anita, owner of the lodge, provides different but delicious breakfast every day. Since most of us did not bring enough clothes for standing under -20 F outdoors, she offered heavy coats and boots to make our surora viewing so enjoyable. Anita provides lots of advices that make our trip a lovely memory of life time.

  It was air conditioned, which I hear is not common for Anchorage but was really good to have. Breakfast was OK too. - Pretty spacious room and had fridge and microwave in the room. Having free wifi connection was very useful. Staff was very helpful and friendly

The accommodations were adequately comfortable. The hotel walls are somewhat thin and there is a lot of outdoor noise ie: train, traffic, pedestrians.
