What a pleasant surprise. I picked the Island Hotel for it's central
location. The room rate was lower than other hotels on the island so I

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good - waffles, fruit, english muffins, bagels, oatmeal. pool was clean & pool area was nice and relaxing. They even had at least one grill for cooking - didn't get to use it this time. Rooms were clean and comfortable. AC worked really well. The ping pong & pool tables were a fun treat.

Our 1st room was not up to your standards or ours. Furnishings were dated, whirlpool tub had mold around jets, old dirt and grime ground into floor, etc. We brought it to the attention of the manager - and we were immediately given another room - one that had been renovated recently - and we were happy campers. Thank you. -

So close to the ocean, heated pool, kitchen in single room was great, coffee very good, no loud people partying or children making noise was nice -
Our view from the hotel was amazing. Rooms were clean, there were a few
things under the bed left behind from previous travelers.
