  I thought Rhisa, who checked me in was a wonderful concierge who helped me with all my inquiries and had bell hop take all my treasures up to my room! Davey, the IT person helped me get my Wi-Fi set very quickly! The room I had was in the far side of the main building where it was quite and no problems with getting around. Merry Christmas! - I was concerned about the property after reading reviews & was pleasantly pleased with everything about the hotel. Noise was not an issue as so many reviewers said. But it is a city so there will be some. We closed our windows at night & slept well. Great location. Buses out front. IHop across the street. Staff went out of their way to help whenever approached. I would stay here again.

  We only stayed one night but what a night it was, a memory to last a lifetime . Halekulani was indeed a tranquil oasis in the midst of the Waikiki bustle. True to its name of "our house befitting heaven" - The staff was superb. The food was excellent and the setting tranquil, yet right off the main Waikiki drag.

  We loved everything about this hotel. The location is ideal. The staff seem to genuinely love their jobs and it shows in their outstanding commitment to guest service. The rooms are whisper quiet. The location was close to the strip and trolley stop right in front of the door. There was also a convenient ABC in the lobby. I had a problem with the air conditioner in my room making clunking sounds when turned off and I was all prepared to demand a new room, however, after reporting it to the front desk it was fixed by maintenance by the time I returned in the afternoon.
