  Once we upgraded to a bigger room we were much more comfortable. Two people could fit in the room that had two queen beds in the room. the staff was amazing and so helpful.

  85 year old plus Uncle Fred took us to dinner while we were staying at the Harrington. Fred stayed at the Harrington in 1947, and leaving the hotel bumped into Harry Truman. &Quot;Where are you stationed, Soldier?" asked Truman. Most importantly, it is in a great location, being very close to all the popular tourist destinations. There is a fun bar in the lobby, and the cafe provides a decent, well priced breakfast. I thoroughly recommend this one.

  The rooms were clean, good location, and the price was very good. - The location and the room. The hotel is only 200m from the Chinatown Metro. When you exit at the Chinatown station just turn right and walk a little bit. The bed was new and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful even though without smiles.

  Room was comfortable - TV on swivel base was neat! Microwave & mini-fridge were added benefits at no extra cost. Conveniently located along a fairly quiet city street. Within walking distance of several buses, and also comfortable distance to restaurants, convenience stores etc. Well suited for a brief business trip. Staff was generally polite & responsive e.g. when my iron malfunctioned, they replaced it promptly. - The location is fabulous, very close to all public transportation and only a few stops from the Verizon center, China Town, the White House and many museums. Breakfast was better than many places we've stayed and included scrambled eggs and morning biscuits - not bad! The price was terrific and the value excellent for this part of DC. Really....

  The only downside to staying here is the on-street parking, which is difficult in this neighborhood, given the embassies and restricted resident-only parking areas. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, free breakfast, great location.
