  The front desk staff member Christine was very helpful, polite and understanding when our credit card wouldn't work. Patiently waited on us until it was fixed. Nice girl. Very clean hotel. Breakfast was hot and lots of options. Nice location to subway and parking right around the corner.   I liked how the staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests even though they did not have to. The room we stayed in 814 had an amazing view of midtown manhattan and was very quiet. The rooms were very nice, comfortable, and clean. There is a subway station right next door to the hotel which gives you easy access to all of NYC. I had Room 301, the biggest one on the floor. Very comfortable bed, enough space for your stuff and very clean. I have been many times in NYC and the Lower East Side has become a hot spot, therefore the location of the Hotel is also good. Subway is only 2 blocks away. Very friendly staff and the restaurant in the basement is serving an outstanding omelet :-)
