  Didn't have to leave the resort except for groceries. Lots of activities each day for all ages. Lots of boats, nice pool. Helpful and hardworking staff. Great location. Whole family ranging from 1 to 67 years old had fun. Lakeside view of fireworks on Thursdays. Very clean property on lakeside.   So nice to see lemonade and cookies at check-in desk, even though we were too full to enjoy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bacon beautifully cooked at breakfast buffet; pancakes good. Loved the area for kids near the pool, and the spacious grounds. Lots of little nooks around the hotel for quiet conversations. Loved the fire "pit" outside ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » main entrance. Indoor pool was beautiful, although so many kids there I changed my mind about going in. A disappointment. - The location is very close to the lake and there are many good restaurants nearby. The first night we were given a room that was over looking at the back parking but in the morning the staff were helpful in locating us to a room that overlooking at the lake which was very nice.

  Very nice place just outside (2 miles) the craziness of the village. We wanted 'quiet' but close enough to enjoy the downtown area. We drove into town but the trolley is available just outside the Colonel Williams. The owners/staff are very attentive and the grounds/rooms are well cared for. But we were out and about most days & didn't use it (except for 2 days dur - The owners allowed our son to take a shower after picking him up from camp after we had already checked out.   I really enjoyed everything about the resort. It was very clean which is what I look for most. It had a beautiful view of the lake, a private beach, patio, playground, boat rentals and pool. The pool was right on the lake also-which was lovely. The location was excellent-close to everything. I really loved our stay there and will most certainly go back again. - I enjoy the private beach . The room was very small but it was very clean. I do not need more space for me it was O.K. If you want a place to make friend with your kids it's really the place.Kids where enjoying the pool, beach and the treats that the motel provides at lunch time.I Had a rootbeer float and was very good.
