We paid a bit more and had a river view - well worth the money. You could sit and watch the water rushing by and the birds flying over and the ground squirrels looking for food: nature on your doorstep. The pool was lovely and refreshing on a hot day. The location. Super close to yosemite national park, very easy for us. Friendly staff, everyone was helpful, especially the guy at the supermarket. He is super friendly. The food is excellent. We had breakfast everyday and its reasonable and yummy. Loved the swimming pool as well. Very handy after a hot day hiking. The balcony facing the river is great. Shame we didn't see any bears.
