  First thing I really want to say about this Motel is that the owner is VERY nice and helpful. For a first time motel experience it didn't even feel like a motel at all! It was clean and comfortable, the internet worked perfect, the parking is pretty much at your doorstep and there are even washing facilities. After a few days of travelling we decide - The owner, Andy, is very courteous and went out of his way to direct me to local food places and to make sure I had everything I needed. This side of town is a little rougher, just northeast of Compton. However, Andy has fenced off all the entrances to the complex except for the one that goes right next to the front office. He also installed very bright lights in the parking lot. I was a female travelling alone so security was a concern, but I felt safe staying at Mission Motel. It was my
