  The hotel was beautiful with a large atrium with waterfalls and small pools, even Koi. The breakfast area was very large and the buffet breakfast had everything you could possibly want. Our rooms were lovely and well kept up. Yet most of all, the staff, Ken Starkie, Misty and Cody were the best!!   Wow! We had an incredible stay! The week before we had stayed at the Broadmoor. The customer service at the Academy Hotel was on the same par, and the atmosphere was great. My husband and I work in tourism and customer service, so this is something we are sensitive to. We ate pizza at the Falcon Grill and it was delicious. My daughter and I had Strawb - Absoulty everything except I think check out should be 24 hours from the time you check in.. It's a bit unfair to only allow you to check in at 4 and you have to check out by 11 ... That's 5 hours if time paid for but not allowed to use.. Other than that we loved it . We usualy stay 2/3 times a month at a hotel (motel 6 and quality) the later of the 2 we will never stay again and 6 for the price it was a good 1 but it's hit or miss with things like the air working or haveing a microwave or frid

  We only stayed for one night, but found the service to be excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed dining on the terrace overlooking the mountains, and the kids liked the pool table and x-box games in an area right off the lobby.
