The staff were absolutely wonderful. I was traveling with my two grand daughters and the staff went out of their way to talk to the girls and genuinely show an interest in what they had been doing and had seen in Chicago. Travelling with 5 young children and 3 adults can be daunting at times, but ALL the staff from the doormsn to the dining room, front desk to managers were absolutely incredible. Great downtown location with very friendly and helpful staff. Impressive lobby with convenient breakfast room location. Nice to have coffee available throughout the day. Breakfast quality was good and we so enjoyed the energy and attitude of Veronica, the breakfast attendant. Comfortable beds.

Good location and great view (you can actually see the lake) for $129 a single night made it a bang for buck. The rooms are on the top floor (40th) while the lover levels are offices of different banks. Just thinking about taking a shower above a corner room makes you smile:)

I can not recommend this Marriott Residence Inn highly enough. The location, the comfort, the price, and, most appreciated, the graciousness and helpfulness of every staff member made the entire five-day stay memorable and enjoyable. I hope to return for leisure rather than business.
