I found Creekside exceeded my expectations in every way. Micah began the wonderful experience - took charge and took care of everything - what a nice gentleman. The room was wonderful, clean and cool. Plenty of coffee and the ice was nearby. Breakfast was a most pleasant surprise - good food, simply done. The cookies and coffee at night was the perfect ending to a great day in Bishop. We especially enjoyed eating the cookies by the creek. Thanks for a wonderful visit and keep up the good .
kaikki arvostelut » Breakfast is acceptable although I was disappointed that they did away with waffle machine(s). Soup in afternoon is great idea but the soup could have been warmer and they need to have "real" soup spoons those little plastice things are almost as ineffective as trying to eat soup with chop sticks. They (staff) are very accommadating and helpful. Lobby is a highlight. Good location in terms of being able to walk to eateries. Friendly helpful staff, good sized room with some nice touches. Good sized pool & hot tub. Breakfast very good compared to other hotels of this standard, both hot & cold food & plenty of choice. But with out doubt best feature was creek running through property which had been landscaped to a very high standard and sitting beside the creek, sunbathing whilst drinking coffee on a morning was sheer bliss. Excellent staff, immaculate room; newly refurbished and what a treat to get wallpaper and not paint, the little balcony was a bonus, to sit and look at the mountains. A very comfortable bed in a large and light room. Good bathroom if a little noisy plumbing. Breakfast on china with real cutlery, which came as a surprise after weeks of paper and plastic elsewhere. The Creekside Inn is a quiet and comfortable stay. We were met by two smiling helpful guys full of good advise on what to do and see. There is an open foyer with the feeling of an art gallery. Great photography of Galen and Barbara Powell line the walls with a roaring fireplace comfortable easy chairs. Fresh breakfast served by a smiling lady who kept everything tidy. It is on a pretty creek with tables along it to sit out and watch the ducks. Staff was very friendly and let us check in a few hours before four. My fiance got off work earlier than expected. We had our 11 month old daughter with us. Across from the park and from our window we could see the ducks playing across the street. Next to Schat's, (which is dangerous, haha!) Carl's Jr. and tasty BBQ place. Didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment there. Bishop always has a beautiful view of the mountains. Creekside Inn really took advantage of the creek on the property, the stone work, iron work and plantings are wonderful. Over all it was a very peaceful and delightful stop. All of the employees were very polite and willing to help, I'll look forward to our next visit. It is situated right in the heart of Bishop, within walking distance of restaurants. We were fortunate to have a 2nd floor room overlooking the waterfall which was lovely. Very clean & a big room with real cups & glasses. Very comfortable bed. Morning breakfast excellent & front desk personnel very friendly. 1. The staff! Friendly, helpful and there was always someone there to help. 2. Room - Large, comfortable and with the creek running right outside the door! 3. Lobby - Warm, inviting with the fireplace going, a great place to relax. 4. The best investment we've made in years for a place to stay. Charming, warm, comfortable rooms, lobby and grounds. Good location to stay when I visit family in Bishop. Felt safe and relaxed. Good TV reception & channels, great pool and very good breakfast buffet. I really enjoyed my room. And I like the lobby sitting area.....big and comfortable. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable and it was in a great location. We had dinner at the bowling alley next door which the front desk recommended. We went next door the other direction and visited Schat's Bakkery. The hot tub was clean and great to use after a day of driving. The staff very nice and helpful. The location in a small town with many restaurants around. That was pleasant after spending the whole day driving. The stream that goes through the hotel property. The hot tub. The hotel lobby with the fireplace and the pictures hanged on the walls. The best hotel my family and I have stayed at in this city! Great price, friendly staff, clean, close to everything! Free Wi-fi, complimentary soup @ 5pm and fresh baked cookies at 7pm. Beautiful creek runs alongside outdoor seating area by the pool. We will be staying here again. The hotel, location and rooms were all beautiful. The pool and hot tub were more than welcome after the drive from San Francisco. Staff were friendly, cookies in the evening and breakfast were excellent and the creek (complete with ducks) was stunning. Couldn't recommend it more!. Great breakfast included as well as cookies at night and tea, coffee and water during the day. A great location next to the bowlin alley, park and bakery. Very clean and nice with a heated pool and jacuzzi and a stream with small trout on/through the property. Location is across from Bishop Park and close to Schat's Bakery and Bishop Creek runs parallel to the property. Heated pool and great complementary breakfast. Helpful staff. Carpet instead of hard floors, and adequate parking for my tent trailer and car. The rooms are large and very well furnished - baths bright new fixtures - fluffy towels - two sinks and mirrors. Bishop is a good stop between nature spots, such as Yosemite and Death Valley. The Creekside Inn is a very nice hotel, comfortable. Reasonable walking distance to local dining. What more could you want?. Two rooms next to each other so we could be by our grandchildren, food they loved was a nice surprise. The complimentary breakfast was nice and there was a lovely outdoor area. I like the renovation of the rooms the beds are comfortable and clean I felt safe and I really liked the breakfast we stayed here on our way to Mammoth for the last 7 years. As passing through hotel to visit Yosemite national park (it takes about 3 hours to get there): great hotel to spend the night with complementary breakfast (which is ok). Lots of things to do in this area. Room was big, quiet, comfortable and clean. The pools were lovely and the little creek was pretty. If I were to come again I'd book a creek-side view. rooms were very clean and roomy with a comfortable chair. we had the creek side which was very relaxing and enjoyable to look at from our balcony. Very convenient location on main road (395) but quiet rooms. Central in town, great mountain views. I liked the facilities because they were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and I would definitely stay here again. The running creek with outside tables was lovely. It is, despite all its benefits and pluses, still a bit pricey for Bishop. Try to get a room which does not face the highway. Not good sitting on your balcony looking at the traffic going by. Noise for us not a problem, but could be if you are a light sleeper. Noisy plumbing. Other customers that came in that night were a little loud, slamming their doors. Granted we go to bed a little earlier with the baby, but common courtesy is to be quiet in the hotel hallway, right? That was no fault of Creekside's, though!. Checking in the young man barely spoke except to tell us where our room was & where to initial. Had a phone in his pocket which he was in a hurry to see who called & get back to them!. That we can't get back there soon enough!!!. Can't think of a thing. The shower spray was bad, but it's a minor detail. The rest was. Liked eveything!. Safety bar on sliding glass door needs to be repaired. Have no dislikes -. Insufficient green tea, more variety for breakfast ( like bacon) , box of kleenex in bedroom, pool was closed for winter, cockroach in bathroom , needs stronger wifi, would be nice to have microwave in room. No complaints whatsoever. No complaints. I'd give it a 5 out of 5. No negative cooments. Bishop is "just" a stop... It was all good. Was over priced for the area. Pillows were small square pillows. The rooms were a little tired looking. We only dient here only one night, so difficult to say. Didn't experience negative elements. Nothing. no bar in hotel. I booked a mountain view room but we were given a ground-level room with a view of the car-park and the back door to the hotel with people coming and going. The breakfast was average. nothing. Nothing. No elevator, at least in rear section. Not as much info about the hotel and area as is usually offered. not apply. Would have liked a room with balcony. We were on the first floor. Above us on the second floor was a hallway leading to an ice machine or vending machine. We heard footsteps every night throughout the night of those walking back and forth. It was very annoying. Radio did not have light on it to see the clock. Need glasses (even plastic ones would be ok) in bathroom for pills and brushing teeth. Nothing.
