The helpful, attentive, professional staff and updated facilities. (I know the hotel has been around for many years and they have kept it up-to-date.) Appreciated the outdoor spots to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a convenient location for all of Aspen. I loved the cheese, crackers and wine at the end of the day. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Location was excellent. The staff were lovely. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but plentiful. Wonderful room! The owner and his staff could not have been more accommodating ! Great location !. I liked the breakfast, the hot tub, the robes in the rooms,and the outdoor surroundings. Friendly staff, walking distance to all activities, fair rates, free parking. Almost everything was fine, especially the LOCATION!. Great location. Walking distance to core of Aspen. A little bit of everything specially the staff. Brian on the front desk was very helpful. Location, employees, small and friendly. Interior ,cosy , service. Location and price. Everything.... If you want to be in and near the town of aspen, the bus line that connects to all the other venues, and the trail system this is a great place to stay for a relatively low price, compared to the Grand Hyatt, for example. Charming place close to downtown. Ambiance. No cancellation or refund. Nothing. The wifi didn't work as well as it should in my room. The noisy fan in the bathroom!. Room was a little small, for anything other then sleeping. Our room has a very soft queen-sized mattress which was extremely uncomfortable for a couple. Didn't appear to have wine/cheese hour as advertised. The rooms on the lower floor to small and almost underground. Noise from people moving in the room above. The Mattress needs to be replaced, somewhat of a sink hole in the middle. No ice machine. We stayed in what is best described as the "Harry Potter Suite" - in the basement, below the stairwell. This was not what was advertised and at $225 / night not what we expected. The staff was less than friendly - cool and european,. Lack of storage (forget the ski), not suitable for more than 2 days. Plumbing very noisy, wakes you up.
