We loved the French Press coffee,having a refrigerator and microwave, the shower in room 710, the layout of the room and the overall feel of the hotel. The staff in the Spa gave us a tour so we could see what all they have to offer. It's beautiful. Everyone we talked with was extremely kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Majestic Inn. The room way exceeded what we expected and perhaps that was because we had been upgraded. Our room was in the new building. Loads of room, sheets were lovely, toiletries perfect, freshly ground coffee a real bonus. Would defintely stay again!!.
kaikki arvostelut » I've never stayed in a better place for the money. We were in the new building second floor, nice view of the harbour from there. Great part of town with lots of good restuarants, a brew pub, places for breakfast and only a five minute drive to the ferry. We were among the first visitors to stay in the new building--open for two weeks. Absolutely beautiful studio room, perfectly equipped and splendidly decorated. Freshly ground local coffee for the French press! Terrific staff made us welcome. The location was right in the heart of the cute town area with many restaurants and shops. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. There were enough outlets for our phones, laptops and other devices - such a rarity!. Impeccable service from every employee. Room extremely well-appointed and very comfortable. Beautifully designed spaces. Incredible food. Great location. Wonderful spa. The hotel was very nicely updated but kept its heritage feel. The dinner was excellent and good value for money. Nice location in the town center and very quiet. A lovely well thought out room with a lovely bathroom and very clean with comfortable bed. Front desk staff very accommodating and helpful. It's just a charming small town, easy to have a walk and relax, has a Boutique or two and a few places to dine, and the Hotel is romantic. The architecture, comfort, breakfast was delicious, coffee superb, bed comfortable and cozy, view very nice, staff super friendly. . Easy check in, friendly staff great room & good food. Nice stop over on our way back to Victoria. Everything was wonderful! Room very beautiful, with great view. People in hotel extremely nice!. Staff was nice. Room was clean. Restaurant at the hotel was very good. They were very friendly. Upgraded us for free. Room was very comfy. The atmosphere and the history the friendliness !. Super nice room and easy to get to everywhere. Location. On Friday night we could hear the bass of the music at the bar across the street. It wasn't so bad we couldn't sleep, just noticed it. The wifi did not work and when staff were questioned they shrugged and said there was a problem with apple devices. We had high winds through the night, we felt the building sway and furniture on the roof terrace being moved around by the wind. French press coffee..prefer brewed coffee, no towel bars in bathroom, no light in the closet. Very disapointed that when we booked in at 16:30 we could not get a massage or any service for both of us. The Spa was open till 20:00 & staff indicated that there was nothing available Surely you should allow some space for incoming guests. Better selection of DVD's Our room did not have a bathtub. Room needs a corkscrew and bigger coffee mugs. No tourist or hotel information in room. The hotel was supposed to have ac but did not. The room was warm and we had to sleep with the windows open which made sleep difficult because of the excessive noise. Parking sucked. We didnt arrive till 8pm. Busy town. The coffe press would rather have had regular coffee maker !. unknown. Person who initially checked us in was not pleasant. Ipad wifi access iffy ( even the cheap motels in Anacortes the ipad can access wifi) . No extra blankets or pillows in the room.
