The resort looks like a small hazienda. Nicely kept with lots of trees and flowers. Great pool area, very relaxing with great service.
Staff is extremly attentive and friendly making the stay enjoyable. -
One particular valet named David went out of his way to make sure we got just what we wanted. Much more than just a valet.

It is one of the most beautiful locations I have ever experienced. I
visited there in the 1970s and always vowed to return. Every tiny detail
of the design is magnificent, and if I could afford it, I would stay for

I hesitated to write about this hotel, because once the word gets out, I won't be able to get a reservation. Seriously, this is the coolest place. We had an absolutely GREAT time at El Dorado. The staff - Amanda and Franco in particular - were very friendly and helpful, our room was gorgeous and spacious, the kitchen had everything you could wish for, the pool area was fabulous,... Our little girl slept in the prettiest Laura Ashley cot I've ever seen.
