The hotel, though a bit far from downtown Portland, is conveniently located right next to the light rail/bus station, so getting around the city is fairly easy. The hotel was clean enough and pretty much what I expected from an Econo Lodge.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were efficient and unobtrusive. The room was clean with fridge, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, clock radio, of course cable, and there is a washer and dryer available as well as sauna.

I forgot my camera in my room and they immediately send me an email and send it back to my next hotel.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area and gave a good first impression
in the lobby as well. It was welcoming and the receptionist was very
pleasant and helpful with directions and advice about places I asked
about. Likewise the next gentleman on duty was the same.The room was

The king size bed room was very spacious and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was efficient and polite. Complimentary breakfast was simple but the make it yourself waffles and fresh coffee were great. Very close to highway 5, we were downtown within 10 mns. We were very satisfied for the price and would go back there should we stay in Portland again.
