  Value for the money was excellent. Had two rooms for three nights. The motels is in a decent location near LAX (away from airplane flight paths) and could not find any other decent places to stay for the same price. The rooms were big and the bed was comfortable. They had coffee and tea available 24 hours and in the morning they had muffins and danishes - The rooms and service were top notch. The owner cares a great deal and it shows. There was crown molding in our room, vs. The standard wall paper border you usually find in a hotel room. The toiletries were even good.   There was ample parking space, the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good and much better than most motels I've stayed in. The rooms were large and spacious, decent tv channels and bathroom size was good. There was a microwave, a fridge, ironing board, everything you needed. There is really almost nothing not to like - Decent breakfast selection (waffles!), room was clean and ok. Lots of parking space, relatively close to Venice beach.

Found a great Wine Bar called Sara's 15 mins away that had great wines and food. Very generous pours.

The night shift/early morning concierge gave us a cup of coffee at 3am when we were checking out to go to the airport. He didnt havego to, ya know? Nice extra touch.   We absolutely loved the Beverly Laurel. We flew in for the Grammy awardsand were so happy that we found a very reasonably priced room in anexcellent, excellent location.
