  I appreciated the smoke free smell of the room. I was surprised to get a ride from the airport by car and not a shuttle bus. I had a modest breakfast and the coffee was exceptionally good with real milk. I could have had a variety of things to eat but I was in a hurry for a long drive home.   We didn't really interact with the staff or partake in the continental breakfast. We just wanted a bed to sleep in. I normally sleep with a fan on so when I discovered the AC was loud and stayed on constantly (although not very cold) I was thrilled. Couldn't hear noises from other guests. My mattress looked new.   Pretty much everything was good about Hawthorn Suites. The room was large, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We didn't have any problems so we can't comment on how these would have been dealt with - but I would have been very surprised if they hadn't dealt with them perfectly. - I lost a contact lens which the staff found.
