I wanted to surprise my husband for a perfect 1st wedding anniversary getaway full of calm, relaxing and romantic environment and Anantara did not fall short in completing my dream. It was the best experience ever. The hotel staff were very friendly and did their best to accomodate to our needs. My husband loved the private pool and the breath taking beach view. Upon special requeat, I asked the staff if we can be provided a sheeha by our pvt pool and when they said they certainly will try and did get the sheesha, it just made his day. We also enjoyed the weekend outdoor movie night. With complimentary popcorn and amazing starry night. Everything was exceptional and magical. The archery was also a fun n quiet activity we chose to do. Everything was superb! A truely magnificient experience!
Everything was great, the staff were even more than great, although there were a lot of customers there, but they make each and every one of them feel special. They treat you like you are their only customer.
The food was good, but compared to the place it should be better with more options. Everything was great but a bit pricy.
Al Yamm is great for rest and relaxation. The food is really nice, attentive staff and quality accommodation.
It’s a bit sore on the pocket for a short break. You are paying for an exclusive resort, if you’re looking to make your money go a wee bit further, I suggest looking at Desert Island. Those who like to seek thrills on holiday might find that Al Yamm a bit too quiet.
The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The location was beautiful. The villas are lovely with beautiful decor. The food is very good and varied. The whole experience was very relaxing and we did not want to leave.
I loved the personalized service and how everyone made me feel at home. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcomed.
The boat going from the island to the mainland after check-out could have been better organized. I think they just need more staff for the number of passengers they had.
