  We stayed in reubens court and the location is fantastic - only about five minutes from city centre, and there is a tesco express and morrisons local just up the road to buy food etc for the apartment. TV included sky movies and sky sports (the boyfriend was very happy about that) We didn' - We stayed in the riverside Merchant Exchange apartment and the location was brilliant, just a few minutes walk to all the shops, restaurants & tourist attractions. The views across the city and river were lovely and the apartment was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We appreciated that parking, Wi-Fi and Sky HD were all included in the price. We were visiting York as two couples so staying together in an apartment was nicer than being separated in a hotel. The comfortable beds

The staff were really friendly and could not have been more helpful, providing everything from an annotated map to the city centre - without me asking for it, to menus for local restaurants. The food was delicious and I was particularly impressed that they had a vegetarian hot breakfas - A warm sincere greeting by the owners on arrival set the tone for our stay. Lovely room , well dressed and furnished.En-suite more than roomy enough and fit for purpose, which isn't always the case with guest houses we've used in the past. Location is peaceful, and in a nice area. Pleasant and friendly staff could not be more helpful, and the breakfast sets you up for the day, truly a treat!!
