The Location of the hotel was only a 10 minute walk but after a few points and a walk around the town a taxi will cost you £5. Although Tony was a bit quite his assistant was very chatty and you could have a good banter with her
As for the town it self there was Plenty of pubs and restaurants but as our visit was over the weekend there was a lot of hen and stag party’s going on so a number of places required booking. Plenty of places to visit unable to cover them all but The market and the tr. kaikki arvostelut »
I stayed at the York Lodge for two nights. Didn't really know what
to expect after reading some of the reviews but I found it very
comfortable. Just check in and then you can come and go, there's no
reception or leaving your keys. Comfortable room and bed, generous
supply of tea, coffee, etc, and an excellent breakfast. Would definitely
stay there again.
Easy to find with free off street parking,very close to the Town and all the attractions.The room was clean and tidy, great shower and the fan in the room was welcomed due to the hot weather.Great breakfastwas pipping hot, well cooked and served with a smile.

Single room,which was charged at a good price for a single room and had
a small "en-suite". Landlord booked a taxi for me and did
breakfast a bit early for me.
Big hearty breakfast that sees you through the day. Fully replenished welcome tray with tea coffee etc AND sweets every day. Ideal location for city centre.
