Peace and quiet in the room, no traffic noise. Decent-sized room.Very good breakfast with fantastic service. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Ease of access to wedding venue and A19. Comfortable bed. We were allowed to check in early in advance of the wedding, which was kind of them. Would stay here again and recommend it to others. We had an early start and the owners, Steve and Vicky, brought breakfast forward for us and everyone else going to the Great North Run. They also provided a warm welcome throughout. It is well placed for this event, with Yarm being a delightful town with plenty of good places to eat, but around 1 hour away from the event.
kaikki arvostelut » Proximity to the station. Our room was contemporary and quiet. I asked for a desk or table in my room and they accommodated me nicely in a side room were I could work. The room was also very clean and the bed very comfortable.Very smiley and friendly people. Friendly owners who advised on a local eatery & loaned parking permit. Breakfast good. Nice room in own setting. Coffee & tea making facilities replenished and clean towels each day (if desired). There was much to like, beginning with the friendly reception; a large room; good breakfast served quickly and cheerfully in pleasant dining room; nice bed-linen; lots of hot water and good shower. Field View B&B owners were very welcoming almost like staying at your friends house. The accommodation itself was very clean, tidy & well presented. Breakfast was amazing!!. The room was clean and well presented, the water was hot at all times. The staff were helpful and courteous and the breakfast is amazing! I have already re-booked another stay. Free Wi-Fi. Ideal for visiting north yorkshire and a weekend in yarm full english breakfast well cook walked into yarm only took 20mins a pleasant walk taxi back only charged £4.00. Very friendly, laid back atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. Cleanliness. Location for my business needs - only 5 miles away from my venue. Value for money. Just wonderful from start to finish. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and generous. Looking forward to staying here again. the friendly staff and the great breakfast in the morning, and the efficient manner on how they resolved the missed payment of the room. The family room was an excellent size with an en-suite bathroom which was ideal for our needs, the staff were very friendly and helpful. This was a very pleasant visit, the staff were very nice and accomodating but not the overbearing type. Wifi worked a treat. Despite being on a fairly main road a quiet location. Comfy sofa in large hall area to sit and read way from TV in room. Perfect location for my weekend visiting the Croft Circuit. Very friendly. Good value for money. Shower in the room was luxurious. The propieter was very friendly. First breakfast was delicious. Second morning not so good :(. location, parking facilities. Minor details: one bedside light not working; no hot shower when we checked in early, but this is forgivable at 1.30pm. In the self catering lodge there were no hair dryers in the bedrooms. There were also a few little DIY jobs (wonky curtain poles and broken radiator controls) that needed attention. I cannot fault the place for the reason I visited it. Shower tray overflow. Bathroom door wouldn't close due to floor problem. Would be nicer when building work finished as view from room was mostly bricks that had been delivered!. Room very dimly lit, poor for reading; slightly lumpy and rather short bed; uneven floor in bathroom, and no handrail for getting into and out of a rather rickety shower cubicle. No bath. Nowt. Although bathroom was spacious and newly refubished/modernised, shower water was always cold. Nowt. might need a new mattress lol, as that one had no support in it. and it must of been a train starting up at certain times, but geez it was noisy. (not the B+B fault ofc). The door was a little difficult to lock and the bed was a little lumpy. Noisy bed. Bathroom- shower did not drain very well so great danger of overflow( reported on departure) wooden door frame of shower cubicle obviously rotten at base. Limited vegetarian options for breakfast as don't eat batteryfarmed eggs. Shared bathroom could have a few repairs. Stayed on a shared bathroom basis but would have been nice to have a basin in the bedroom. Some of the fixtures were in need of repair (the shower handle in the shared bathroom). The fact that when I booked the room it stated we would have a 32in tv, unfortunately we were lucky if it was 10in. hearing every movement of the lodger staying above our room including his radio not that it was on loud but we could hear everything. Uneven bathroom floor.Heating on a timer had to go and ask for it to be put on. Bit out of the way, not much around it. the breakfast was cold when staying b+b you look forward to a good brekie ive stayed there before but wont be rushing back bcause of the let down. Could do with a good overhaul,the bed was poor quality. Stained bedding. No privacy once curtains were opened as huge French patio doors overlooking carpark. Bathroom door which didn't shut at all. Having to wash down car before we left as windscreen and front bonnet blanketed in grass from when the lawn was mowed. Saniflo system. Very smelly and noisy unfortunately !!. lack of room service, not properly cleaned, waste bin not emptied on one day. ensuite facilties were very cramped (converted cupboard), no soap provided. Breakfast finished at 8.30 am which is not very leisure customer friendly an the breakfast choices were very limited.
