Good location, easy walking to seafront and shops. on site parking was a bonus. The bedroom was a reasonable size, a little dated but bed was comfortable. Breakfast was well cooked but I would have like to be offered a choice of juices. Relieving manager was friendly and helpful. A friendly atmosphere. Also, one of few hotels with a car park IN Worthing. We also liked the history of the hotel. It was a cosy place as opposed to the modern brash alternatives. We were also made to feel very welcome.
kaikki arvostelut » The location was ideal. It was good to be able to walk to the beach from a quiet location. The room was large and the beds were firm but comfortable. The full English breakfast was well prepared. Service was excellent Friendly most helpful welcoming and accommodating management and staff. Beautiful room and good breakfast. (Even able to serve gluten free bread on request). I found the room to be excellent and comfortable . Loved the Balcony and the garden and the Conservatory. Lovely Breakfast very friendly , would stay again. On-site car parking, an increasing rareity. Good quality food for breakfast. Comfy bed. Friendly welcome. The Beechwood had a nice relaxed ambience. The staff were helpful, friendly and considerate. The hotel was peaceful and situated nicely for the town and coast. The breakfast was very good. Family friendly, the restaurant prepared an off the menu meal for my 9 year old son. Short walk to the beach. Very comfortable stay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The food was good. The breakfast was excellent. Nice country house type hotel ,great location,comfortable and great location,good bar and restaurant area,large car park. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the hotel was comfortable and clean and the food was lovely! We will be back :-). The hotel staff were friendly, the room was clean & the breakfast good. only stayed for one night and had to leave early in the morning but what we saw and experianced was OK. Good location and short walk to railway station to get train into Brighton. Helpful staff and good cooked breakfast. Friendly personal service. Owner is very friendly and a good breakfast Large room. The good was excellent. Breakfast was good!. big bedroom. The ensuite was small which is acceptable in a building of this age however with carpet on the floor, no shelf to place toiletries or hang towels it is in definite need of modernizing and new plumbing. Wifi not available in the room. Nothing we spotted in our short stay. It would have been nice to have a choice of breakfast. Some fruit would have been appreciated. Prices on rooms were a little over priced. We were only there one night. It was so homely wished we could have stayed longer but it will be our first choice when in Worthing agin. All good!. No desk in room Very small bathroom. Price is on the higher side but competitive for Worthing. no downside it was all good. Nothing. Wifi, although very good, didn't extend to my room. The traffic to and from Worthing is horrendous not the hotes fault tho. nothing. Cold bathroom, thin walls,. there was nothing to dislike. Doorkey. Reluctant to supply continental breakfast!!. No elevator. nothing. could do with modernising. Small double bed with dated bedroom furniture. Wi Fi connection needs to be improved - very poor signal. All a bit tired and old fashioned. Needs a bit of freshening up. 5 star price, for 3 star quality. Poor value for money. Jacuzzi is an option, but not at expense of separate shower unit. Reception seemed surprised when we arrived. Hotel generally feels very work in progress. The shower was awful and for the money the room was tiny. Jacuzzi didnt work...deco etc outdated and old, seen better days. Bed was rock hard and had plastic mattress cover on which meant it was sweaty. Not as luxurious as the cost had made us think unfortunately as it was our wedding night!. The bedroom furniture was sparse, there was only one chair so you could only sit on the bed, there was no plug near the desk/dressing table or a mirror, plus no stool to sit on. no flannels in the bathroom and one of the lights didn't work. The bar furniture was uncomfortable, it would have been nice to relax but sitting in hard chairs wasn't quite the same.The bar was shut early so we couldn't get a drink. No choice at breakfast. For £150 a night it was well over priced.
