I enjoyed my stay at Washington Central. The staff were great & most helpful. A special must go to the host at breakfast who put a smile on my face with great services and pleasant conversation. I had a smile on my face for the start of the day. Thank you!. Everything about this hotel was just great. Can not say one bad thing about it. I will always stay there from now on whether on business or with my family for a lovely Cumbrian weekend break.So looking forward to it already.
kaikki arvostelut » The room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the fluffy dressing gown and the towels were amazing! Breakfast was nice as well. Best stay all around I have had at a hotel for business in a while!. Very friendly and welcoming staff Great room - was put in bridal suite!! Extremely central and easy to find. Clean, comfortable and excellent breakfast. staff very very friendly & helpful. good staff. Nearly all. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was diverse in choice and the service was good. The hotel bar was busy when I was there with the Scottish RFL world cup team and was quaint. The location was very close to where I wanted to be. The pool, the friendly staff, the bits that have been refurbished look very good, the size of the suite. Noise started at 6am - lorries loading/unloading directly under window. Noise re-started at 7. Not good if bride and groom staying and wanted a lie-in. Limited parking spaces. Room maid walking in room without knocking. Breakfast, provided in the coffee shop, was not brilliant given the overall price for B&B. Coffee shop lacking in atmosphere and the breakfast team where in a great rush to clear up and get away. having to pay credit card surchage of £7.50. Matteress. The hotel was OK but nothing too special and for the money was slightly over priced. The flow of the hotel was a little strange and it did seem odd that there was a lift and when you alight at your floor you are met with steps!! Not user friendly with luggage!! The roof in my room was sloped but with the curtains hanging the workmen on Debenhams roof could see straight through to my bed!!. Too expensive for what it is, our food wasn't great, steak cooked differently from what was ordered, very rowdy outside, woken by trucks and alarms in the early hours for depot delivery, tiny car park. Additional charge for customers paying by credit card. This is not stated on the web site. The majority of people settle their bills with a credit card!!! Some kind of profiteering going on here!.
