That was written in the kitchen of this fantastic b&b. It's different from every other hotel in woodstock because You can try to live as English do. In a very English home and in the morning have breakfast in a very English kitchen with excellent cooks that prepare You whatever You want. Position perfect to join in a few minutes Blenhaim park and palace.

  Everything - we love Woodstock and Now Love the Star Inn . We usually stay at the Feathers but having seen the refurbishment going ahead we decided to have a change. It's friendly and laid back and the decor is beautiful . The breakfast was also very nice - we choose a small full english and fresh orange juice ( no Eggs benadict on the menu ,but... mitä ihmiset sanovat » can live without it -so OK ) and the brown seeded bread that came with it was great . The other great attraction is you can book for just one night - We received a great reception at the Stay Inn. This a lovely old pub with beautiful oak beams. The staircase is not for the feint hearted. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a soft mattress, the large walk in shower was ideal. The restaurant ambiance and food were excellent, all the staff were great but Joe especially made such a great effort. Great breakfast. Very highly recommended right in Woodstock centre.

  This is a fairly new and beautifully appointed hotel. We stayed in an Executive Suite which was a lovely room. The room was spotless, the bed wonderfully comfortable and great corner settee to lounge on. The hotel is opposite the grounds of Blenheim Palace. It is situated on a main road, there was no problem with road noise. There is a train ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » station 5 minutes walk away, you can jump on a train to Oxford, only a 9 minute journey away and have no worries about parking. Really convenient. B - The Courtyard Woodstock Hotel is a new building just 3 minutes from the train station that has a 10 minute train ride to Oxford and Cotswold villages.There are also good bus connections to Woodstock Blenheim Palace and other Cotswold villages. Easy to get to public footpaths for country walks. The staff in the onsight cafe is very pleasant and friendly.

  I was a little put off by the 2star rating on letsbookhotel.com for the accommodation as with business, we use the Premier Inn as a basis for comparison which are typically 3 star. There is no way this hotel is a 2 star, it is definitely on par if not better than Premier Inn standard. The rooms I found to be way above what I expected, very spacious, comfy bed, extra pillows - I arrived late Sunday (plenty of free parking available) to a friendly welcome and asked for an iron and ironing board which was instantly produced. Good service. Nice spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed. The free wifi was a big plus and enabled me to send an important email before sleeping. Excellent cooked breakfast. No problems with checking in or out and nice friendly farewell. Sorry that business meant I could not stay any longer but hope to be back next time for leisure purposes.

  Very nice staff, very helpfull and enthusiastic. The evening room bed turn down service, especially topping up tea and coffee which we had used was a very nice touch. - Great surroundings, wonderfull village, very helpfull staff and a great bedroom.

  The location was perfect being close to all the shops and pubs in Woodstock. Everything about the hotel was excellent, no complaints at all. - We enjoyed the relaxed attitude of the staff. They made us feel that we could treat the hotel as our home.
