Legoland® is 4.3 miles away from The Winning Post whilst Windsor Castle is 7.5 miles away and Thorpe Park is 12.2 miles away.

Really lovely rooms all newly decorated and beautiful views of the surrounding gardens. Very comfy bed and really liked the fact there was 'real' milk in your rooms fridge for tea and coffee. Beautiful boutique kind of style to the room as well, was really impressed. Room rate included a continental breakfast which had lovely fresh croissants and thick yummy bread with butter and jams. If you wanted a Cooked breakfast it was only a few pounds more. Overall I would recommend this lovely little p.
kaikki arvostelut » Staff are very friendly and helpful.The room standard was excellent and spotlessly clean and the location perfect.We stayed here overnight before catching the train from epsom to london, a short 40 min journey .This is essentially a country pub with fabulous rooms.The breakfast was great too and only £4 each for a full english which was beautifully presented.Will definately be returning. What a fabulous find in every way - comfort, food, staff and location. Our trip was to see Berkshire and The Winning Post was ideally situated. Thoroughly enjoyable. Would recommend to family, which we have already done so. Will certainly visit again. Thank you. Staff were professional and very efficient. Room was comfortable and had all the facilities needed to make for a comfortable stay. Fresh milk in the fridge and a good selection of tea and coffee. Restaurant food was superb and menu varied. Highly recommended . Welcoming, friendly service, clean, comfortable, spacious, well-heated, well-appointed room, great pub and restaurant with excellent food, and all at a very reasonable price. A real jewel, well placed to visit Windsor and the surrounding area. The hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The food was amazing!!. We loved the hotel & would definately return. I have already recommended it to my friends & family as a great place to stay. The service and engagement with the hotel's employees was excellent. They were incredibly customer focused - and seemed to actually enjoy what they were oing rather than just seeing their ole as a job. We will be back!. Nice sunny room with lots of atmosphere. Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Bar and dining area was full of character with low ceilings, typical of very old English buildings. Good menu, food, drink and service. The staff were lovely and the room just as I'd expected, clean and cosy with a lovely cottage garden like feel. It was a very busy weekend yet we weren't made to feel like we had to rush at dinner. Very personal, friendly, relaxing and slow - it helped that the weather was fantastic Food was fabulous and priced about right for the area and venue. Amazing place - will be back. Luxurious rooms, beautiful grounds, exceptional staff, and great food in the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast. Staff very welcoming, friendly and proffesional, would definitely stay again.room very comfortable and able to have a few beers without driving. great to be able to bring dog, lovely walks about, friendly bar staff really liked the horse pictures in the restaurant. - The restaurant/bar was really nice. Service was good too. - The bed in the room was super comfy. The service was excellent and decour was everything you would expect from a country hotel. Staff, food, quiet (except noisy Welsh singing Sunday alarm clock. Not staff's fault). We had a lovely two night stay, were made very welcome and very well fed!. The contryside atmosphere and friendly staff. Good food well served. Charming Hotel, in a lovely location, friendly staff and good food. great staff, cozy rooms, good food, country pub style. Friendly, quiet, good food, free WIFI. everything, excellent kitchen !. Very clean and friendly staff. Comfortable accommodation. The rooms were over a very nice, stylish country pub. Parking was easy. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. food very good. Nothing! Hotel is a car journey away into Windsor but that didn't bother us. Whats not to like?. Nothing - what's not to like?. Nothing to say. No lift available to get luggage to upstairs rooms. Location requires a car to get to it but the quaint village atmosphere makes it worthwhile. The food was a little pricey for the quality and we were disappointed that the pub menu isn't available at the weekend. Breakfast was lovely, we had the continental, some fruit or yogurt would of been nice along side though. Wish they did the cheaper deals more often!. Food a bit pricey. no negative commenst to make. -The green emergency exit light that was in our room, and bothered me at night. - We had a room with a connecting door and you could hear everything from the next room. Would be nice to have parking at back reserved for guests. Had to haul my bag from street across gravel. Hard on luggage and me. Having to walk outside from our room to the bar and dinning room when the winners enclosure was in use. Not good when it is raining and you are dressed for dinner. Nothing Really. all was good. On this ocasion room had good shower, on previous ocasion had room where there was no shower due to sloping roof over bath. Must have shower!!. the slight rain in the morning :). Thought the meals and drinks were a little pricy. expensive restaurant. In the morning the cleaners kept trying to come in to our room even though we weren't up and were not checking out on the first day. Also there were noisy building works going on in the room next door which woke us and really disturbed us on the Saturday morning. And our bathroom was clearly unfinished, which wasn't very attractive. This was bad planning on the hotel's part.
