  A fabulous guesthouse! We highly recommend this lovely place to everyone. Steve and Vicky are very hospitable owners and personaly very nice people. One can feel they put their hert into this their work. They helped us a lot long before our travel by answering our questions (best choice of the Lakes tour, walking paths, arrival to WIndermere etc.)... mitä ihmiset sanovat » . Steve kindly picked us up at the rail station upon arrival and transferred when departing. One can clearly see that they do their best for their gue - Ideally located between Bowness and Windermere. 10-15 minutes stroll either way. Steve and Vicky are the friendliest B n B people that we have met (stayed in over 12 other B n Bs). Invergarry is such a welcoming place. The bed was really comfortable. We stayed in a small double but this was a reasonable size for a couple of nights and didn't feel small. Breakfast was delicious - homemade muesli, jam and marmalade. Best breakfast that we have had in a B N B. Really lovely touches in the rooms -

  We were greeted by a very friendly man who couldn't do enough for us. He allowed us into our room much earlier than usual as we wanted to get ready for a wedding nearby. The room was lovely, clean and had all the necessary bits and bobs we needed (including a hand-held magnifying mirror!). Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was light and clean. ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » Breakfast was good, plenty of it and good, prompt service. Would recommend this hotel to others. - A lovely inn with good, clean rooms and a good sized ensuite bathroom ..and, at times, a working TV... sinceours didn't work!. However, everybody pulled out all the stops to get the TV in working order; alas, it was not to be. We were offered free drinks as compensation in the pub, which we appreciated very much. Other than this amusing story, we had a great time in this lovely place and would definitely go back!

  It was our first time in the Lake District and The Coppice was situated within the perfect location to explore both Windermere and Bowness on Windermere (a ten minute walk from either town). The hotel was cosy, clean and comfortable. Rooms were of a good size and nicely decorated. There was an excellent choice of food at breakfast and portions were large, so we - It couldn't have been better! Barbara and Chris are perfectionists in all they do. We stayed in a family room with our 2 pets which was perfect for us. Loved the decor and especially the nice touches of bone china teacups in the room. The welcoming sherry was perfect. A short walk into Winderemere to restaurants, And a quick car trip to Bowness to other water activities. Did not use the spa but it was nice to know it was there. Would definitely return and Chris says he's converting family rooms

  Everything was exceptional. The place is a typical country house with very clean rooms with white crisp towels and bed linen. Breakfast was something I used to look forward to every morning which was really good. Location was just right as we were travelling by car and few mins from windermere centre. Would definitely go back there if we travel to Windermere - I am a wheelchair user (complete paraplegic) and found the access to be excellent. I would go as far to say that Meadowcroft is probably one of the best places I've stayed for disabled room facilities. The option to book a disabled room from the website is a very good touch, I usually have to phone ahead to confirm that the room is appropriate for my needs and available, which this function eleviated, if only other sites/hotels did this. The room was spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. T
